At Caru-Yu
Our priority is to promote the American Hairless Terrier within Great Britain and Europe, conforming to the requirements of the Kennel Club and the Animal Welfare Act. At present this breed is recognised by The United Kennel Club of America, hopefully within the next few years the AHT will be placed on the FSS of the American Kennel Club with view to recognition, consequently allowing the AHT to apply to the KC for recognition here.
As a breed the AHT is an itelligent, adorable companion. They excel at agility, flyball and terrier racing giving 110% every time.
Being completely hairless they are an ideal Hypo – Allergenic dog for allergy sufferers.
Caru-Yu AHT’s were purchased from my dear friend Sue Medhurst of Curio AHT, Sue has recently departed these shores for a new life in the USA, but is still active in the promotion of the breed, thanks Sue for introducing these wonderful dogs to the UK.
